Reiki
Developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui, Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a system of Enlightenment and a Hands on Healing art which is passed from Master to student. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words - Rei and Ki, meaning Universal Life Force Energy. The term “Reiki” is used to describe both the energy and the Usui system of using it. Although the original system by Usui was called Usui Reiki Ryoho, there are a variety of Reiki forms that are used worldwide, today. Thank you to James Deacon All Energies-Therapy Web for sharing this image of Mikao Usui.
As a certified Master Teacher Reiki practitioner in the Usui tradition, Nadine is available to provide clients with Reiki sessions or to teach Reiki to groups who are interested in developing their own healing practice whether for personal or professional growth.
Nadine comments, “Reiki is going mainstream. People feel more comfortable exploring this wonderful healing system that offers us a means to support our own health and the health of others, as we wish. Certainly, my own mother is now a Reiki II practitioner and uses Reiki daily to send healing to friends and family members who are in need, with excellent results. My brother intends to take his first Reiki class in the New Year.”
